Morning on May of 23rd, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Danang city - Mr. Ho Ky Minh with the leaders of the authorized bodies of Danang city met the delegation of Japanese New-Business Association (JNB) led by Mr. Fukazawa Eiji, Vice Chairman of the branch in Tokyo on the visit of visual examination and researching the investment environment in Danang city.

At the meeting, all members of JNB expressed the impression on the rapid development of Da Nang and shown the desire to expand trade relations, looked for the cooperation and investment opportunities in the city. Introduced about JNB, Mr. Fukazawa Eiji said that it has officially operated from 1989, JNB has 4,000 subsidiary businesses in the 47 provinces of Japan. The members of the Association of JNB are mainly small and medium enterprises, start-up companies, the venture capital companies, currently exploring investment efforts in the ASEAN countries. 

Mr. Fukazawa Eiji He also added that the current work force is scarce in Japan, especially in nursing, child-care and Information Technology Engineers so the Association is desiring to receive the Labor of Vietnam in general and Danang city in particular. He also expressed the hope to receive the support of the cooperation from the city government.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the City - Mr. Ho Minh Ky said, currently, Japan is classified as 5th on total investment of 38 countries and regions which have FDI capital in Da Nang, with a total investment of nearly 400 million US dollars, most concentrated in the field of manufacturing and processing, construction and information technology

Danang has many universities and colleges which can collaborate with Japan on training human resources in Information Technology, Nursing and Early Childhood Education according to the scarce needs of Japanese labor nowadays. 

In this spirit, the delegation also had a meeting with the Directors' Board of the University of Da Nang to discuss the issue on development of human resources, support for joint training and promote entrepreneurship for Vietnamese students in the future.

Danang also are offering to develop into a Careering City of Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Besides the upcoming direct flights between Da Nang and Osaka City (Japan) will create favorable conditions for the cooperation on the economic, trade and tourism between Da Nang and the locals of Japan.

Vice Chairman - Mr. Ho Minh Ky also committed to create conditions for foreign investors for the business in Da Nang and expressed a desire to add more small and medium enterprises of Japan investing in Da Nang, with the form of direct investment, joint venture, transfer of technology or training of human resources. The Vice Chairman asked the related authorized Departments of the City provide the necessary information and positive support for the Association of JNB in the time of visual examination in Da Nang city.
