On March of 6th, Da Nang the People's Committee of Danang organized the Promotion Program of Japanese investment in Da Nang City. The program attracted more than 100 Japanese and Vietnamese businesses operating on the field of  activities Education, Trade, Financial and Travel services ... participating. Mr. Dang Viet Dung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Danang said: the city wanted to cooperate with the Japanese businesses specializing in the Manufacture, Fabrication, supply on the field of high-tech sector, industry, health, education ... Mr. Dung also said that there are many reasons for Japanese businesses to invest in Danang, which is: the central municipality of the Middle Region, at the end point of the East-West Economic Corridor; convenient transportation; abundant human resources; the complete infrastructure of the Industrial Zones, especially High-Tech Zone is rushing to be completed for catch the investors with the demand.

In this program, People's Committee of Danang granted the Investment Certificate for Vietnam Selfwing Incubation Company, former name of Japan Selfwing, operates in four main areas: incubation and human development according to the Japan Education Model; Introduction of Human Resources; Assistance for investment promotion activities in Vietnam; Support for start-up businesses.

The statistics of the Foreign Investment Agency (Ministry of Planning and Investment), to the end of June 2016, Japan is the second largest investor in Vietnam with 2,661 valid projects with total investment of nearly 38 billion U.S. dollars. In which Danang contributed about 500 million U.S dollars from 120 Japanese businesses. In Da Nang, Japan is foreign investor ranked as 4th from countries, territories that have contributed to the economic development of the city, to solve for many workers.
