Students of the Faculty of Medicine-Medicine of Danang University have more opportunities to practice with advanced facilities of arthritis therapy awarded by the President of the Association of Saitama, Japan, NBC (09-09-2016)

This morning, on September 09th 2016, the University of Da Nang (UD) held a Ceremony of presenting the Facility of Protec Arthritis Therapy by Chairman of Saitama New Business Conferences (NBC), Japan. After this ceremony, the students of the Faculty of Medicine-Pharmacy, UD (direct beneficiary) will have more opportunities to study, practice and study with this new device.

Attended the ceremony, on the Japanese side, there was Mr. Hiranuma Daijiro-President of Saitama NBC; Dr.Yukiko Kawate - Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Selfwing Vietnam co. Ltd.-The Organization of promoting the aid of this device.

Represented of Danang authority, there is Mr. Le Anh - Chairman of Hai Chau People's Committee, Mrs. Le Thu Hanh -Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Department, with representatives of the Departments concerned.

Represented of University of Danang there is Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam - Director of UD, and as Chairman of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association of Da Nang City and representatives of the leaders of divisions, faculties and students of the Faculty of Medicine-Pharmacy, UD and other media agencies.

It is reported that the total value of awarded facility of Protec Osteo-arthritis therapy and other expenses for brand copyright, invited experts, training, equipment operation, ... to more than 1,000,000,000 VND (One billion Vietnam Dong). 

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam - The Director of UD said: "This is a big valuable and significat gift for UD in general and Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of UD in particular. We are committed to using the device for the right purpose with high efficiency, specifically that is creating the best conditions for staffs, medical students have a chance of access, research and use of the facility, improve the quality of research and training in the University".

Founded in 1985, Saitama NBC is the Association of a New -Type Businesses in Japan, with more than 4,000 members from Hokkaido to Okinawa. The Association works in various fields such as Designing, IT, Health care, Legal Advice, and Science and Technology. On August 1st of 2016, UD, Saitama  NBC's Association and the Board of Vietnam Incubation Vietnam project (with office in the 1st floor, Building C, 41 Le Duan St., Danang City; Head Board is Dr. Yukiko Kawate, CEO of Selfwing Vietnam Co. Ltd.) officially signed the Cooperation Agreement. According to this Agreement, the parties will coordinate the training organization at need of the businesses in the Association of Saitama NBC and create the condition for the students of UD to visit for practice and practice in Japan; organizing courses or workshops:  Soft-skills, Training, Fostering, Training on Professional Skills, Foreign Languages, aiming to help students having the capacity to work in companies belonging to the Association of Saitama NBC.

Talking about the relationship among UD with the institutes, universities, organizations and businesses in Japan last time, the present of Arthritis Therapy Protec is the step on realization of cooperation between UD-Association of Saitama NBC, Japan  and the Board of Vietnam Incubation project Vietnam following the agreement on signing last cooperation.

Immediately after the ritual of handover and receipt of the Arthritis Therapy Protec donated by Saitama NBC's Association, Japan, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam, the Coach of the Football Team of Danang SHB - Mr. Le Huynh Duc and Jogging Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuc who won the Golden Medal on Seagames were invited to experience this therapeutic equipment right at the main stage.

Sharing from the perspective of a student majoring in General Medicine under the Faculty of Medicine-Pharmacy, UD, Nguyen Thanh Tai said: although only as the second year student and not been studied much in depth knowledge about the arthritis and joints, but I found that therapy equipment was donated today will be very valuable for our study in the incoming years. I hope soon to have a chance to research and experience on such device. Through that, I can better understand these functions as well as the patient's disease arthritis pain. "

Also on this evening, September 09th, 2016 the Association of Saitama NBC shall be obligated for guiding how to operate the facilities for 25 technicians of UD.
